And my host mom carried on a tradition of buying her new aupair a HUGE warm freshly made stroopwafel! These are divine and consist of like a waffle cone but softer with sticky runny melted syrup inside! You can’t really get more Dutch than that. I know I will be coming back to this market almost every Thursday morning, especially since this morning we were a bit rushed and I’d like to look through it at my own pace.
